Introducing Elorus Developer API v1.2: Enhanced functionality and simplified integration

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Elorus Developer API v1.2, packed with new features and enhancements to make integrating with Elorus even easier! This version brings powerful functionality that was previously only available through our web application, alongside several updates designed to streamline your API workflows.

What’s new in API v1.2?

• Time Tracking: Manage projects, time entries, and tasks directly through the API.
• Private Notes: Create and manage internal notes for contacts, invoices, payments, and more—visible only to your team.
• Client Discussions: Engage with clients by managing comments through the API, in sync with the client portal.
• Tax Calculations: Set custom tax amounts on documents.
• Global Document Taxes: Apply global taxes directly to documents without manually assigning them to each line.
• Custom Units of Measurement: Use and manage custom units for document line items.
• Simplified Numbering Sequences: Easily assign document numbering sequences without needing sequence IDs.
• myDATA Classifications: Assign multiple myDATA classifications to each invoice line.

Please note that Developer API v1.1 is now deprecated and will be in maintenance mode until its removal on April 30, 2026. Although 18 months is plenty of time, we recommend migrating to v1.2 as soon as possible to take advantage of the new features.
